WoofuckingHoo!

Canadians once again prove our superiority over Americans by holding
an election with an actual outcome the next day. (The trick is
to not vote for the idiot, kids.)
Prime Minister Jean Chrétien's Liberals have returned to power with an even bigger majority than they had before the 2000 election. They won 173 seats, 18 more than the last federal vote.
Chrétien thus became the first prime minister to win a third consecutive majority government since Mackenzie King in the 1940s.

Stockwell Day's Alliance Party won 66 seats: eight more than its predecessor Reform Party got in 1997, and just one
six short of the sign of the devil. But it failed to make a significant breakthrough in Ontario, winning only two seats there.
The prime minister and his aides celebrated the win with champagne as "Que Sera Sera" by Doris Day blared over the sound system of the Liberal party airplane.

An e-mail from Rebecca to Pandora:
"Oh My God - the idiot Alliance candidate in my area has left these bloody
recorded phone messages on my machine 4 times, one was tonight while I was on
the internet.
I just phoned their office and they answered and I yelled : GOOD, YOU LOST and
hung up the phone in their ear!!
Annoying assholes. But the guy lost. Hurrah!!"
More on Stockwell here.
